Tom Bailey: podcast appearances and interviews

Thomas Alexander Bailey, born on 18 January 1954, is an English artist known for his work as a singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and record producer. He gained prominence in the early 1980s as the lead vocalist for the new wave band Thompson Twins, which achieved chart success in the United Kingdom with five singles that reached the top ten. Bailey was the only member of the band with formal musical training. He also participated in its later incarnation, Babble, releasing two studio albums from 1994. In 2018, Bailey released his debut solo studio album titled Science Fiction. Beyond his work with bands, he has engaged in various musical projects, including scoring for film. Bailey records and performs dub music under the name International Observer and explores Indo-fusion music with the Holiwater Project. Additionally, he has collaborated with astronomer and visual artist José Francisco Salgado as part of the Bailey-Salgado Project, an audio-visual ensemble. Besides his musical pursuits, Bailey is also involved in the theater and has participated as an Arctic expeditioner, underscoring a diverse career that spans multiple disciplines. His current affiliation includes working with the Blackmores Group, where he continues to explore new artistic avenues.
