Podcast Media Kit Template

July 15, 20262 min read

A media kit is the fuller cousin of the one-sheet. Where a one-sheet is a single page for a cold pitch, a media kit is the page you point to when a show is seriously considering you, or when you want a permanent home for your guest credentials. Here is what to include, and how to structure it.

What goes in a media kit

Header. Name, title, headshot, and the one-line positioning statement.

Bio in two lengths. A short version, two sentences, and a long version, a paragraph. Producers use the short one in show notes and the long one on the episode page, so give them both and save them the work.

Topics and angles. Group your talking points into two or three themes, each with a few specific angles underneath. This shows range without looking unfocused.

Audience and proof. Who you reach and why it matters to a host: your community, your reach on the channels that count, and any credentials the audience respects. Only claim what is true and verifiable.

Past appearances. Two to five links, with the show name and the topic. If you are early and have none yet, replace this with talks, articles, or other public speaking.

Assets. Links to a high-resolution headshot, your logo if relevant, and preferred bios, so a producer never has to chase you for the basics.

Contact. One clear way to reach you, plus your site and one social handle.

How to use it

Lead a cold pitch with the one-sheet and link the media kit for the producer who wants more. Keep it as a live page rather than a static file so it stays current and you can update a past-appearance link without resending anything.

Keep your kit and your pitches aligned

A media kit is only as good as the shows you send it to. PitchCentric scores more than 850,000 podcasts for booking probability and drafts pitches grounded in each show's real recent episodes, so the kit lands on the shows most likely to book you. Start a free trial.
