Walter Koenig: podcast appearances and interviews

Walter Marvin Koenig is an American actor and screenwriter born on September 14, 1936. He began his professional acting career in the mid-1960s and gained early prominence for his supporting role as Ensign Pavel Chekov in the television series Star Trek from 1967 to 1969. Koenig's portrayal of Chekov led to his reprising the role in all six original Star Trek films. More recently, he provided the voice of President Anton Chekov in the series Star Trek: Picard in 2023. Beyond Star Trek, Koenig has appeared in various other productions including Goodbye, Raggedy Ann; The Questor Tapes; and Babylon 5. In addition to his work as an actor, Koenig has pursued a career in writing. His writing credits include contributions to the television series Land of the Lost, Family, What Really Happened to the Class of 65? and The Powers of Matthew Star. Through his work in both acting and screenwriting, Koenig has maintained a notable presence in science fiction and television over several decades.
