KT Tunstall: podcast appearances and interviews

Kate Victoria Tunstall, born on June 23, 1975, is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician. She first gained widespread attention with a live solo performance of her song 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree' on the television program Later... with Jools Holland in 2004. Her debut album, Eye to the Telescope, was released in the same year and sold over five million copies worldwide. The album's success was bolstered by singles such as 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree,' which received the Q Magazine Award for Best Track, and 'Suddenly I See,' which won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song and was featured in the film The Devil Wears Prada as well as in the campaign for Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential bid. Tunstall's second album, Drastic Fantastic, followed in 2007, supported by singles including 'Hold On,' 'Saving My Face,' and 'If Only.' Her third album, Tiger Suit, was released in 2010. In 2013, she released her fourth album, Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon, with the lead single 'Feel It All.' Between 2016 and 2022, Tunstall released a trilogy of albums titled Kin, Wax, and Nut, which featured singles such as 'Maybe It's a Good Thing' and 'It Took Me So Long to Get Here, But Here I Am.' In 2023, she collaborated with American singer and bassist Suzi Quatro on the album Face to Face. Over her career, Tunstall has sold an estimated total of seven million records and received numerous awards, including a BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist, two Ivor Novello Awards, and nominations for a Grammy, Mercury Prize, and other international accolades.
