Jim Walden: podcast appearances and interviews

Jim Walden is an American attorney and an independent candidate for New York City mayor. He previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 1993 to 2002. After his governmental service, Walden entered private practice, where he has been a defense attorney for corporations involved in cases concerning white-collar crime, antitrust violations, and market manipulation. His clients have included Grigory Rodchenkov, the former head of Russia's anti-doping laboratory, UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, and underground high-stakes poker organizer Molly Bloom. Walden has also represented plaintiffs in class action lawsuits against entities such as WeWork, the New York City Department of Education, and the New York City Housing Authority. Additionally, he served as special counsel to a task force created by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy to investigate the administration of the state’s tax incentive programs.
