Doris Kearns Goodwin: podcast appearances and interviews

Doris Helen Kearns Goodwin, born on January 4, 1943, is an American biographer, historian, former sports journalist, and political commentator. She is recognized as a presidential historian and has authored biographies of multiple U.S. presidents. Her book No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II received the Pulitzer Prize for History in 1995. Goodwin has contributed to television as well; she produced the American miniseries Washington and served as executive producer for the 2022 docudrama Abraham Lincoln on the History Channel. This series was based on her book Leadership in Turbulent Times. Throughout her career, Goodwin has been noted for her detailed political and presidential biographies as well as her involvement in media projects related to American history.
