Douglas Brinkley: podcast appearances and interviews

Douglas Brinkley, born on December 14, 1960, is an American author and a professor of history at Rice University, where he holds the Katherine Tsanoff Brown Chair in Humanities. He joined the Rice faculty in 2007. Brinkley is also a history commentator for CNN and serves as the Presidential Historian for the New York Historical Society. Additionally, he is a contributing editor to Vanity Fair magazine. Beyond his academic and media roles, Brinkley is recognized as a public spokesperson on conservation issues. In 2023, he joined the board of directors for the National Archives Foundation. His work encompasses a range of responsibilities that include scholarly research, public education, and advocacy for conservation.
