Christophe Guy Denis Lambert, often credited as Christopher Lambert, is a French–American actor, producer, and writer born on March 29, 1957. He began his career with supporting roles in several French films before gaining international recognition. Lambert is notably known for his portrayal of Tarzan in the film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984). His performance in the film Subway (1985) earned him the César Award for Best Actor. He gained further fame starring as Connor MacLeod in the adventure-fantasy film Highlander (1986) and continued to be associated with the franchise through its subsequent television and film adaptations. Lambert also appeared as Raiden in Mortal Kombat (1995), Methodius in Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011), and Arne Seslum in Hail, Caesar! (2016). In addition to his acting career, he served as an executive producer for the film Nine Months (1995). His body of work spans several genres across both film and television, establishing him as a prominent figure in international cinema.
