Steven Knight: podcast appearances and interviews

Steven Knight is an English film and television producer known for his work as a screenwriter and creator. He has written the screenplays for films including Closed Circuit, Dirty Pretty Things, and Eastern Promises. Knight also wrote and directed movies such as Locke, Hummingbird (also known as Redemption), and Serenity. In addition to his film work, he is recognized for his contributions to television, having created several notable series. These include the BBC's Peaky Blinders, The Detectives, SAS: Rogue Heroes, A Thousand Blows, and House of Guinness. Knight is credited as one of the creators of the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, which has been remade and broadcast in approximately 160 countries worldwide. His writing credits also extend to shows like Commercial Breakdown, See, and Taboo. In July 2025, it was announced that he would write the 26th official James Bond film, which is set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve.
