Steve Carell: podcast appearances and interviews

Steven John Carell, born August 16, 1962, is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer. He gained early recognition as a cast member on The Dana Carvey Show in 1996 and as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 1999 to 2005. Carell is widely known for his portrayal of Michael Scott in the NBC sitcom The Office, which aired from 2005 to 2011 and again in 2013. His work on the show earned him numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award, and contributed to his recognition as 'America's Funniest Man' by Life magazine. In addition to his television success, Carell established himself in comedy films such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Evan Almighty, Get Smart, and Date Night. He also lent his voice to animated films including Over the Hedge, Horton Hears a Who!, and the Despicable Me franchise. Later in his career, Carell expanded into dramatic roles, notably portraying John du Pont in Foxcatcher, which garnered him Academy Award and BAFTA Award nominations.
