Aubrey Plaza: podcast appearances and interviews

Aubrey Christina Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer. She began her performing career at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, where she engaged in improv and sketch comedy. After graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Plaza gained widespread recognition for her role as April Ludgate on the NBC political satire sitcom Parks and Recreation, which aired from 2009 to 2015. Her film debut was in Mystery Team in 2009, and she subsequently appeared in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in 2010. Her first leading film role came with Safety Not Guaranteed in 2012. From 2017 to 2019, Plaza portrayed the characters Shadow King and Lenny Busker in the FX series Legion, which received critical acclaim. In 2022, she starred in the second season of the HBO anthology series The White Lotus, earning nominations for a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe Award. In addition to her acting career, Plaza has been involved in film production since 2017, both starring in and producing films such as The Little Hours and Ingrid Goes West, as well as drama films Black Bear and Emily the Criminal.
