Seth Moulton: podcast appearances and interviews

Seth Wilbur Moulton, born October 24, 1978, is an American politician and Marine Corps combat veteran who has served as the U.S. representative for Massachusetts's 6th congressional district since 2015. His district includes many of Boston's northern suburbs, such as Andover, Marblehead, Peabody, and Salem, his hometown. Moulton graduated from Harvard College in 2001 with a bachelor of science degree in physics and subsequently joined the United States Marine Corps. He served four tours in Iraq before earning dual master's degrees in business and public administration at Harvard. Entering politics in 2014, he was elected to represent Massachusetts's 6th district. During his tenure, Moulton led an effort to remove Nancy Pelosi as House Democratic leader in November 2018, though Pelosi retained her position. In April 2019, he announced his candidacy for the U.S. presidency in the 2020 election and campaigned across key states including Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. However, his campaign did not gain substantial support, and he withdrew from the race in August 2019. In October 2025, Moulton announced plans to challenge U.S. Senator Ed Markey in the Massachusetts Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate in 2026, indicating his ongoing involvement in national politics.
