Miles Taylor: podcast appearances and interviews

Miles Taylor is an American author, commentator, and former government official. He served in the administrations of both George W. Bush and Donald Trump, with his tenure at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2017 to 2019. During his time at DHS, he was personally recruited by former DHS Secretary and White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly to serve as his senior advisor. Taylor gained national attention in 2018 when he authored an op-ed in The New York Times under the pseudonym 'Anonymous,' criticizing the Trump administration. He further expanded his critique with the publication of his book titled A Warning in 2019, also under the same pen name. In 2020, Taylor revealed his identity as 'Anonymous' while actively campaigning against Donald Trump's re-election and became the first former Trump administration official to endorse Joe Biden. Currently, he is the head of advanced technology and security strategy at Google and is affiliated with Defiance.org. In addition to his roles in government and the private sector, Taylor is an advisor to emerging technology companies, a regular media commentator on issues related to technology and national security, and has experience as a university lecturer focusing on national security topics.
