Sarah Longwell: podcast appearances and interviews

Sarah Longwell is an American political consultant and publisher of the news and opinion website The Bulwark. She is a former member of the Republican Party and has established organizations such as the Republican Accountability Project and Republican Voters Against Trump. These groups have invested significant resources in efforts to defeat former President Donald Trump in the 2020 and 2024 elections. According to The New Yorker, Longwell was committed to resisting Donald Trump's influence on the party during his first term; since Trump's re-election, she has advocated for defeating Republican candidates electorally as a means to compel the party to alter its course, which she describes as authoritarian. In addition to her work in political consulting, Longwell serves as a senior fellow at the Kettering Foundation, a non-partisan research organization. She is also an author, with an upcoming book titled How to Eat an Elephant, scheduled for release in 2026. The book aims to present a comprehensive approach to dismantling what she regards as Trump's Republican Party.
