Randall Adam Fine is an American politician who has served as the U.S. representative for Florida's 6th congressional district since April 2025. He is a member of the Republican Party and previously served in the Florida Senate from 2024 to 2025 and in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2024. His congressional district includes a six-county area that encompasses Daytona Beach. Born in Arizona and raised in Kentucky, Fine holds a bachelor's degree in government from Harvard University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1996. Before his political career, he worked for McKinsey & Company, served as a teaching fellow at Harvard, and was a corporate executive in the casino gambling industry. Fine’s political career in Florida began with his election to the Florida House of Representatives in 2016, followed by his service in the Florida Senate. He gained his congressional seat following a special election in 2025 after the resignation of Mike Waltz, who became the U.S. national security adviser. Throughout his career, Fine has made public remarks that have been characterized by some as anti-Palestinian and anti-Muslim, including statements supporting Islamophobia and calling for the expulsion of Muslims from the United States. These comments have elicited backlash from Democratic politicians and some conservatives alike.
