Patrick Lange: podcast appearances and interviews

Patrick Lange is a professional duathlete and triathlete from Germany. He has won the Ironman World Championship three times and has set course records in 2017, 2018, and 2024. Lange is also a former German champion in duathlon and team triathlon, achieving titles from 2010 to 2013 and 2012 and 2013 respectively. His career includes victories at the military world championships team triathlon in 2008 and a bronze medal at the ITU Duathlon Short Distance World Championships in 2012. In 2018, Lange won his second consecutive Ironman World Championship in Kona, with a record time of 7 hours, 52 minutes, and 38 seconds, being the first to complete the race in under eight hours. His breakthrough came at the 2016 Ironman World Championships where he finished third with a total time of 8 hours, 11 minutes, and 14 seconds. The following year, Lange won the race, setting a new record of 8 hours, 1 minute, and 40 seconds. In 2023, he placed second at the event in Nice, France, and set a new marathon record for the World Championships with a time of 2 hours, 32 minutes, and 41 seconds. Lange secured his third title in 2024 with a time of 7 hours, 35 minutes, and 53 seconds, establishing a new course record and completing a 2 hour, 37 minute, and 34 second run split.
