Kate Edwards is an athlete associated with Precision Physical Therapy. While primarily known for her athletic pursuits, she has also established a diverse professional background. Edwards is recognized as a geographer, writer, and content culturalization strategist with extensive experience in information-based cartography and video game content. She served as the executive director of the International Game Developers Association from December 2012 to June 2017. Edwards spent over a decade at Microsoft, where she helped create the Geopolitical Strategy team and worked to evaluate and manage geopolitical and cultural content in software products. Following her tenure at Microsoft, she founded Englobe, now known as Geogrify, a consulting firm focused on content culturalization and strategy for the video game industry.
