Ian Michael Walker, born on October 31, 1971, is an English football coach and former professional goalkeeper. He has served as the goalkeeping coach for Shanghai SIPG, a club in the Chinese Super League, after holding similar positions at Shanghai Shenhua. During his playing career, Walker was a prominent figure in the Premier League, notably playing for Tottenham Hotspur, where he made 259 league appearances and was the first choice goalkeeper from 1994 until 2001. He also played for Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers, with his time at Bolton limited to cup competitions. Walker had brief loan spells with Oxford United and Ipswich Town. Internationally, he earned four caps for England and was part of the Euro 96 squad, as well as being selected for Euro 2004. Additionally, he was capped at under-21 and B team levels. After retiring from playing, Walker managed non-league side Bishop's Stortford before transitioning into coaching roles in China.
