George Conway: podcast appearances and interviews

George Thomas Conway III, born on September 2, 1963, is an American lawyer and activist known for his legal and political activities. He successfully argued and won the 2010 case Morrison v. National Australia Bank before the Supreme Court of the United States. Conway was considered by President Donald Trump for appointment to two positions in the United States Department of Justice, namely Solicitor General and Assistant Attorney General heading the Civil Division, but he withdrew his consideration for both roles. In 2018, Conway became a vocal critic of Trump, particularly during the period when his wife, Kellyanne Conway, served in the Trump administration from 2016 to 2020. During the 2020 presidential election, he was involved with the Lincoln Project, a coalition of former Republicans dedicated to defeating Trump. Conway also ran in the 2026 Democratic primary for New York's 12th congressional district but did not secure the nomination, which was won by New York State Assembly member Micah Lasher.
