Dave Schultz: podcast appearances and interviews

David Lesley Schultz was an American freestyle wrestler who achieved significant success at the Olympic and World levels, winning multiple medals across these competitions. He and his brother, Mark Schultz, together secured gold medals at the 1984 Olympic Games, making them one of the few sets of brothers to have won both World and Olympic championships. The Schultz brothers are recognized for having amassed more NCAA, World, and Olympic titles than any other American sibling duo. Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Schultz also worked as a coach for individuals and teams at the college level as well as privately. His coaching career included employment under John du Pont, a philanthropist who sponsored a private wrestling team at Foxcatcher Farm in Pennsylvania. Schultz's life was tragically cut short when he was murdered in January 1996 by du Pont, who was convicted of third-degree murder and sentenced to prison. His legacy remains notable within the sport of wrestling for his achievements on the mat and his contributions as a coach.
