Damon Herriman is an Australian actor born on 31 March 1970. He is recognized for his performances in various television series and films, including his role as Dewey Crowe on the FX neo-western crime series Justified between 2010 and 2015, and as Romeo on the Starz drama miniseries Flesh and Bone in 2015. Herriman has notably portrayed cult leader Charles Manson twice, once in the second season of the Netflix psychological crime thriller series Mindhunter and again in the 2019 comedy drama film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. His work in film has garnered critical acclaim, with Herriman winning the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Punch in the black comedy Judy and Punch in 2019. Additionally, he received a nomination for the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance as Ruse in the 2018 historical psychological thriller The Nightingale.
