Cameron Lewis James, born on 11 February 1998, is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ramsgate. He began his football journey at the age of nine when he joined Colchester United's academy. Over the years, he progressed through various age groups and made his professional debut for Colchester United in May 2016. During his time with Colchester, James was loaned to several clubs including Chelmsford City in January 2018, Braintree Town during the 2018–19 season over two spells, Maidstone United in November 2019, and Welling United in January 2020. After being released by Colchester in July 2020, he joined Chelmsford City. James's career has been marked by multiple loan spells at different clubs, which provided him with varied experience in competitive football. Currently, he plays for Ramsgate, continuing his career in the sport.
