Boris Karloff: podcast appearances and interviews

William Henry Pratt, known professionally as Boris Karloff, was an English actor born on 23 November 1887 and who passed away on 2 February 1969. He is recognized for his significant contributions to the horror genre, with his portrayal of Frankenstein's monster in the 1931 film Frankenstein establishing him as a horror icon. Karloff reprised this role in subsequent films including Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Son of Frankenstein (1939). His notable film work also includes the role of Imhotep in The Mummy (1932). In addition to his on-screen acting, Karloff voiced the Grinch and narrated the animated television special of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966), which earned him a Grammy Award. Throughout his career, he appeared in a total of 174 films and performed extensively on stage, radio, and television programs. His contributions to film and television were recognized with two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, awarded on 8 February 1960.
