Aziz Ansari: podcast appearances and interviews

Aziz Ismail Ansari is an American actor, comedian, and filmmaker born on February 23, 1983. He gained prominence through his role as Tom Haverford on the NBC series Parks and Recreation, which he played from 2009 to 2015. Ansari also created and starred in the Netflix series Master of None, which aired from 2015 to 2021. For his work on the show, he received multiple awards, including two Emmys and a Golden Globe. The Golden Globe was notably the first acting award received by an Asian American actor on television.

Ansari began his comedy career in New York City while studying at NYU Stern in 2000. He co-created and starred in the MTV sketch comedy show Human Giant before taking on acting roles in various feature films. As a stand-up comedian, he released his first comedy special called Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening in 2010. He has continued to perform stand-up and release specials, including Aziz Ansari: Right Now in 2019, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. Additionally, Ansari authored a book titled Modern Romance: An Investigation in 2015.
