Amanda Lourenço Nunes is a Brazilian-American professional mixed martial artist known for competing in the women’s Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She is a former UFC Women's Featherweight Champion and has held the UFC Women's Bantamweight title twice. In 2022, she was ranked number one in the UFC women's pound-for-pound rankings. Nunes is regarded by many commentators and publications as one of the greatest female mixed martial artists of all time. She is notable for being the only woman to become a two-division UFC champion and the third fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two weight classes simultaneously, following Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier. Additionally, Nunes is the only fighter to defend titles in two different weight classes while actively holding both championships at the same time. Her accomplishments have earned her recognition in the sport and a place in the UFC Hall of Fame.
