Why Do We Want People More When They Pull Away
Why can someone seem moderately interesting until they suddenly stop texting, become distant, or appear less available? Psychology suggests that uncertainty, intermittent reinforcement, attachment patterns, and perceived scarcity can sometimes intensify desire. But wanting someone more when they pull away doesn’t necessarily mean you love them more—it may mean your psychological reward system has been activated.
