Elon Reeve Musk is a businessman and former public official, serving as the President of the Department of Government Efficiency. Born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa, Musk emigrated to Canada in 1989 and later became an American citizen in 2002. He holds bachelor's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 1997. Musk is known for founding and leading several high-profile technology and transportation companies. He is the CEO and largest shareholder of Tesla and SpaceX, the latter of which he founded in 2002 and has become a leader in reusable rocket technology and commercial spaceflight.
