About this Podcast:

Launches August 27, with new episodes releasing weekly on Thursdays. The Arc One project brought together 10 new and emerging D/disability-identified artists to write and perform new short works — ranging from short stories to monologues to dramatic scenes. Each one runs about five minutes long. And each one stands entirely on its own. These aren't excerpts. They aren't previews of something bigger. Every episode of this podcast is its own complete listening experience. The Arc One cohort performed these works for a live audience at the Roundhouse Performance Centre in May of 2026, accompanied by live mixed sound and music by Mishelle Cuttler. The evening was recorded live by sound designer Malcolm Dow, and now here it is for you to experience over the next ten weeks – one amazing artist at a time. - Duende by Isabel Miller Arc One Ep 1 – August 27, 2026 Blossies by Kyla Dowling Arc One Ep 2 – September 3, 2026 Roadkill by Gary Tam Arc One Ep 3 – September 10, 2026 Her Necklace by Cass McKenzie Arc One Ep 4 – September 17, 2026 RIP Anton Chekhov, You Would’ve Loved KN95 Masks and Air Purifiers by Elijah Curror Arc One Ep 5 – September 24, 2026 Lucy by Jessica Hood Arc One Ep 6 – October 1, 2026 Not in Order by Helen Jiang Arc One Ep 7 – October 8, 2026 A Wolf’s World by Sunny Daydream Chen Arc One Ep 8 – October 15, 2026 Words I Kept by Carmen Josephine Lee Arc One Ep 9 – October 22, 2026 Chasing Daylight by Desirée Leal Arc One Ep 10 – October 29, 2026 - Host & Facilitator — Adam Grant Warren Program Assistant — Damion LeClair Sound Design & Editing by Malcolm Dow Original Compositions by Mishelle Cuttler Set Design by Stephen Field Elgar Technical Direction & Lighting Design by Nico Dicecco Access Coordinator — V West Production Management by Jordyn Wood Production Assistance by Claire Brown Produced in partnership with the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre This podcast is generously supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Province of British Columbia, the City of Vancouver, the Lohn Foundation, and the Hylcan Foundation.
