The call had limited attendance, with only Lawrence joining while at work, but Steve provided detailed guidance on marketing strategies and offered to continue mentoring the new agent. Steve emphasized the importance of thinking long-term (3-5 years) rather than focusing solely on short-term transactions, and shared personal examples of successful farming and relationship-building techniques that have driven his business growth over 20 years in Austin.

Aug 17, 202632 min
Barry delivered a comprehensive presentation on real estate business growth and development, outlining the five phases of a real estate agent's career and explaining how to transition from production-based work to building a scalable business. He discussed the importance of vision, purpose, impact, and legacy in business development, emphasizing that most agents (93%) simply make a living rather than building something significant. Barry explained the progression from generating income as a solo agent to buying back time through delegation and scaling, ultimately creating financial and time freedom. He shared his personal experience of transitioning from working 33 years in Denver to now operating successfully from San Diego with a team of 160 agents, demonstrating how the eXp business model enables geographic freedom while maintaining business growth. The presentation concluded with advice about preparing for the upcoming year and reassessing business goals during the fourth quarter.

The conversation also covered the importance of pricing homes correctly from the start to avoid prolonged days on market and the risks of overpricing. Alyson shared a recent experience with a difficult cooperating agent, and Ed advised on maintaining fiduciary duty and handling aggressive negotiation tactics. The conversation ended with a brief discussion on MLS visibility and the importance of broad listing exposure.
The F Word: Follow-Up Trends: Unconscious Habits Keeping Agents Stuck | Sara Delansig and Heather Murcin | S24 E26
Aug 17, 202626 min
This was a solo episode of "The F Word Follow-Up Trends" podcast hosted by Sara Delancig, where she discussed how unconscious habits can keep real estate agents stuck in unproductive patterns. Sara explained that agents often fall into familiar but unprofitable routines, such as checking email before prospecting, spending time organizing instead of contacting clients, and waiting to feel motivated before taking action. She outlined four unconscious habits that keep agents stuck: reacting instead of leading, avoiding discomfort, confusing activity with productivity, and waiting to feel motivated. Sara emphasized the importance of replacing habits with systems and creating better defaults, sharing examples of how different daily habits can lead to significantly different business outcomes over time. She encouraged listeners to identify one unconscious habit that's holding them back and to focus on consistent daily actions rather than waiting for motivation.

The meeting was a Scripting Fridays session led by Ed Lane, focused on strategies for increasing market share in a shifting real estate market. He provided detailed scripts and metrics for each strategy, emphasizing the importance of proactive prospecting and adapting to market changes. Participants like Nicole and Alyson shared their experiences and sought advice on specific challenges, such as handling listings that have been on the market for a long time and balancing rental and sale options. Ed encouraged agents to focus on a few strategies at a time and to track their progress, while also discussing the impact of market conditions and the need to differentiate themselves through value and effective communication.
Every question we get asked before someone starts their trial.
If you have a concern about deliverability, AI quality, data privacy, or whether this will actually work for your specific situation, it's probably answered below.
What is the difference between Founder Solo and Founder Pro?
Founder Solo gives you 50 AI pitches per month using the credit model (Standard pitches cost 1 credit, Enriched pitches cost 2). Founder Pro raises that to 200 credits per month and adds full Booking Probability access, unlimited Magic Match, Apollo enrichment credits, and data export capabilities. Both plans use the same credit system, so you can stretch your monthly budget further by using Standard-mode drafting.
How do agency tiers work?
Agency tiers have no base fee. You pay per managed client and per talent profile. Agency Standard is $199 per client per month; Agency Pro is $399 per client per month. Both add $39 per talent profile per month. Your own team's user seats are always free.
What is a talent profile?
A talent profile represents one person (founder, executive, or spokesperson) you are booking onto podcasts. It includes their bio, topics, headshots, and outreach history. Team plans include 5 profiles; agency plans are pay-as-you-go.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Contact support if you need help migrating between plan families.
Do you offer a free trial?
Every paid plan includes a 15-day free trial. Your card is saved at signup but you will not be charged until day 16. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No charges after that. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you reactivate.
Is the 20% annual discount automatic?
Yes. Select Annual on the pricing toggle and the discounted price is applied automatically at checkout. The annual price shown is the full year cost.
What if I have more than 50 profiles or 20 clients?
That is our Enterprise tier. Contact our sales team and we will build a custom plan with volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees.
