Tommy Robinson: podcast appearances and interviews

Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, better known as Tommy Robinson, is a British individual with a history of involvement in far-right activism and various political activities. He co-founded the English Defence League and served as its leader from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, he was a member of the British National Party from 2004 to 2005 and held a position as joint vice-chairman of the British Freedom Party in 2012. Robinson was also involved in developing Pegida UK, a chapter of the German movement, in 2015. From 2017 to 2018, he wrote and appeared in videos on the Canadian website Rebel News and served as a political advisor to Gerard Batten, then leader of the UK Independence Party. He is known for producing self-made videos in a documentary style, often focusing on topics such as the grooming gangs scandal; some of these videos have been legally found to contain defamatory false statements. Robinson has a record of criminal convictions including assault, threats, harassment, fraud, and contempt of court related to his broadcasting activities, leading to multiple prison terms between 2005 and 2025. In personal financial matters, he reported losing substantial sums through gambling and declared bankruptcy in 2021; he also reported owing significant amounts to HM Revenue and Customs and creditors. As of recent reports, he was subject to investigations over unpaid taxes and owed approximately two million pounds to creditors.
