Tom Roach: podcast appearances and interviews

Tom Roach is the vice president of brand strategy at Jellyfish. He has a background in Australian rules football, having previously played in the Australian Football League for the Richmond Football Club. Roach is the son of former Richmond champion Michael Roach and was drafted under the father–son rule. During his AFL career, he played as an on-baller and participated in a total of 11 senior games over two seasons, scoring a combined total of 80 possessions. Roach wore the number 8 guernsey of his father for the 2005 and 2006 seasons but was delisted after struggling to secure a regular position in the team. Growing up in Richmond, Victoria, he played for Richmond Junior Football Club through to under-15s and later for Greythorn Falcons, where he was named Best and Fairest in the Colts competition of the Yarra Junior Football League in 2001. He is notably the first and only AFL player to have played for RJFC, an achievement commemorated by an award named after him. After his AFL career, Roach continued playing in the Victorian Football League with North Ballarat, winning premierships in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, he joined the Swan Districts Football Club in the West Australian Football League, where he secured a third consecutive premiership.
