Todrick Hall: podcast appearances and interviews

Todrick Hall, born on April 4, 1985, is an American singer, performer, dancer, rapper, choreographer, activist, and YouTuber. He first gained national recognition on the ninth season of the television singing competition American Idol. Following his appearance on the show, Hall developed a substantial following on YouTube through the sharing of original songs, parodies, and skits. His video-making process was documented in a series titled Todrick, which aired on MTV in 2015. In addition to his musical career, Hall has worked as a choreographer and judge on RuPaul's Drag Race beginning with its eighth season. He also has a notable presence on Broadway, where he starred as Lola in Kinky Boots from 2016 to 2017, and subsequently played Billy Flynn in Chicago both on Broadway and in the West End in 2017. In 2019, he appeared as Ogie in the musical Waitress. Hall has released four studio albums, including the visual albums Straight Outta Oz in 2016 and Forbidden in 2018. In 2020, he released an EP titled Quarantine Queen and served as the international host of Global Pride 2020.
