Todd Radom: podcast appearances and interviews

Todd Radom is a graphic designer known for creating many of the logos used by American sports teams. He has designed the current logos for the Washington Nationals and the Anaheim Angels, among other notable projects. Radom's work includes the logos for the Super Bowl and the Basketball Hall of Fame. In addition to his logo design, he authored the book Winning Ugly: A Visual History of the Most Bizarre Baseball Uniforms Ever Worn. His collaborations extend to various sports and entertainment projects, such as working with rapper and actor Ice Cube to develop logos and uniforms for the BIG3 Basketball League. Radom's design style is characterized by his distinctive use of typography and the incorporation of classic visual elements. His work has been recognized for its cultural significance, with projects like the Chicago White Sox's 2017 premium season ticket package being included in the permanent collection of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Radom graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 1986 and has since designed hundreds of book covers and helped develop corporate identities for non-sports clients. Before founding his own design firm in 1990, he gained experience working in book publishing with William Morrow and Company and Penguin Books. Currently based in Katonah, New York, Radom continues to influence sports branding and design through his freelance work and collaborations.
