Stephond Strickland, born September 30, 1990, is an American professional wrestler and rapper. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling where he has held the AEW World Championship once and the AEW World Tag Team Championship once with Keith Lee. Strickland began his wrestling career in 2008 under the ring name Shane Strickland, working for various independent promotions including Major League Wrestling, Evolve Wrestling, and Combat Zone Wrestling. He is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, Evolve Champion, and CZW World Heavyweight Champion. From 2014 to 2018, he performed in Lucha Underground under the masked persona Killshot. In 2019, Strickland signed with WWE under a developmental contract, performing as Isaiah Swerve Scott in NXT and becoming part of the Hit Row stable. During his tenure in WWE, he won the NXT North American Championship and was later promoted to the main roster on SmackDown. He was released from WWE in November 2021. In March 2022, he signed with AEW under the ring name Swerve Strickland. He has since become a one-time AEW World Champion and a one-time AEW Tag Team Champion alongside Keith Lee. He led the Mogul Embassy stable until May 2024, establishing himself as a prominent figure in professional wrestling.
