Stephanie Kelton: podcast appearances and interviews

Stephanie A. Kelton is an American heterodox economist and academic known for her advocacy of modern monetary theory. She has served as an advisor to Bernie Sanders's 2016 presidential campaign and contributed to the Senate Budget Committee during his tenure as chairman. Kelton is a professor at Stony Brook University and a senior fellow at the Schwartz Center for Economic Policy Analysis at the New School for Social Research. She has previously held a faculty position at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Kelton is also the founder and editor-in-chief of the blog New Economic Perspectives. She authored the New York Times bestseller The Deficit Myth, which discusses modern monetary theory. Recognized as a significant thinker and visionary, she was named one of Politico's 50 influential figures transforming American politics in 2016 and was included on Fast Company's list of most creative people in business. In 2019, Kelton joined the board of Matriarch PAC, further establishing her engagement in public policy and social issues.
