She is recognized for her role as Detective Rosa Diaz in the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which aired from 2013 to 2021. Beatriz has also appeared in the Peacock action-comedy series Twisted Metal, portraying the character Quiet, which began in 2023. In addition to her television work, she played Carla in the musical film In the Heights released in 2021. As a voice actress, she is known for voicing Mirabel Madrigal in the Disney animated film Encanto, also released in 2021.
