Matthew Johnson is a Canadian director, writer, producer, and actor recognized for his work in independent filmmaking. His early career included low-budget feature films such as The Dirties, which won Best Narrative Feature at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2013, and Operation Avalanche in 2016.
