Marlon Lamont Wayans is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer born on July 23, 1972. He is notably recognized for his collaborations with his brother Shawn Wayans on the television sitcom The Wayans Bros. which aired from 1995 to 1999, as well as for his roles in numerous comedy films including Don't Be a Menace, Scary Movie and its sequels, White Chicks, Little Man, Dance Flick, and the 2026 release Scary Movie. His filmography also includes appearances in films such as Above the Rim, The 6th Man, Norbit, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, The Heat, A Haunted House and its sequel, Naked, Fifty Shades of Black, Sextuplets, and On the Rocks. Beyond comedy, Wayans has taken on dramatic roles in movies like Requiem for a Dream, Respect, and Him. He has also been involved in producing and creating content, partnering with Randy Adams on What the Funny, an online platform dedicated to urban comedy, and developing the comedy competition show Funniest Wins which aired on TBS in 2014.
