Scott Lucas: podcast appearances and interviews

Scott Lucas is an American musician known for his work as the guitarist, bassist, and lead vocalist for the band Local H. He co-founded Local H in Zion, Illinois, in 1987 with high school friends. Over the years, Lucas has been the sole remaining original member of the band. In addition to his work with Local H, he is the lead vocalist and guitarist of Scott Lucas and the Married Men, a solo project he founded in 2010. Lucas is also a member of the electronic band The Prairie Cartel and has performed as a touring bassist for The Tossers. He was part of a cover band called The Cold Space, which included members from Scott Lucas and the Married Men, and has released three albums through his solo project. Lucas's musical career includes several albums and collaborations across different genres. In February 2013, he was attacked and robbed after a show in Russia, during which he lost his voice and sustained damage to his vocal cords. Although he quickly regained his voice, Lucas's band, Local H, had to cancel a series of concerts as he recovered. He has since resumed touring with both Local H and Scott Lucas and the Married Men. Lucas is affiliated with University College Dublin, where he serves as a Professor of International Studies at the Clinton Institute.
