Rob McElhenney: podcast appearances and interviews

Robert McElhenney III, born on April 14, 1977, is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, director, and businessman. He is prominently known for his role as Mac on the comedy series It s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, a show he also created and co-developed alongside Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton. McElhenney has been actively involved in the series as an executive producer and writer since its inception in 2005. In addition, he plays the character Ian Grimm on the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest, which he co-created with Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, serving as an executive producer. Beyond his work in television, McElhenney expanded into sports management by becoming the co-owner of Welsh football club Wrexham A F C in September 2020, alongside actor Ryan Reynolds. This ownership venture has been documented in the FX series Welcome to Wrexham, which has earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program as an executive producer.
