Richard Hammond: podcast appearances and interviews

Richard Mark Hammond is an English television presenter, journalist, and author. He is widely recognized for co-hosting the BBC Two motoring programme Top Gear from 2002 to 2015 alongside Jeremy Clarkson and James May. After their tenure on Top Gear, the trio hosted Amazon Prime Video's The Grand Tour from 2016 to 2024. Hammond has also been involved in the presentation of various entertainment and documentary series including Brainiac: Science Abuse which aired from 2003 to 2006, the game show Total Wipeout from 2009 to 2012, and the nature documentary series Planet Earth Live in 2012. In 2016, together with Clarkson and May, Hammond launched the automotive social media platform DriveTribe, which includes a motoring channel on YouTube. Hammond currently hosts videos on this channel alongside former Top Gear Stig Ben Collins and his daughter Izzy Hammond. Since 2021, he has been hosting Richard Hammond's Workshop, a series documenting his efforts in running a classic car restoration business. Throughout his career, Hammond has been known for his work on television programs related to motoring, science, and entertainment, contributing to his reputation as a prominent figure in British media.
