Rey Fénix, born on December 30, 1990, is a Mexican professional wrestler known for his work across numerous wrestling promotions. He has performed in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, where he is the current AAA World Cruiserweight Champion in his second reign, and previously became the inaugural AAA Fusión Champion in 2013. Throughout his career, Fénix has held various titles including the AAA Mega Championship, Latin American, and World Cruiserweight Championships. He has also competed in Lucha Underground, where he became the inaugural Gift of the Gods Champion and later won the Lucha Underground Championship, making him the first wrestler in the promotion to have captured all three titles, as well as the Lucha Underground Trios Championship. Fénix has appeared in other notable promotions such as Consejo Mundial De Lucha Libre, Impact Wrestling, AEW, Ring of Honor, Major League Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. In Impact Wrestling, he held the Impact World Tag Team Championship with his brother Penta, with whom he also performs as the Lucha Brothers. He has wrestled in Japan for Pro Wrestling Noah and Pro Wrestling Wave and has worked in the United States on the independent circuit, including PWG where he is a one-time World Tag Team Champion. Originally debuting in 2005 on the Mexican independent circuit, Fénix has established an extensive international career. In AEW, he was a member of the Death Triangle faction and has won the AEW International Championship, the AEW World Tag Team Championship, and the AEW World Trios Championship.
