Renate Reinsve: podcast appearances and interviews

Renate Reinsve is a Norwegian actress born on 24 November 1987. She received her education at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and began her acting career on stage at Trøndelag Teater in Trondheim. In 2016, she joined Det Norske Teatret in Oslo. Reinsve made her debut in feature films with Joachim Trier's Oslo, August 31st in 2011. She gained international recognition for her leading role in Trier's romantic comedy-drama The Worst Person in the World, released in 2021, which earned her the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress and a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She continued to work with Trier in the family drama Sentimental Value, released in 2025, where she played an actress reconnecting with her father. Her performance in this film led to nominations for the Academy Award, BAFTA Award, and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Reinsve has also appeared in several other films including the psychological dark comedy A Different Man, the thriller Armand, the science-fiction romance Another End, the drama Fjord which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes, and the science-fiction horror Backrooms. Additionally, she appeared in the Apple TV+ legal thriller series Presumed Innocent in 2024. Her body of work has established her as a prominent actress in Norwegian and international cinema.
