Rachel Sennott: podcast appearances and interviews

Rachel Anne Sennott, born on September 19, 1995, is an American actress, screenwriter, comedian, creator, and showrunner. She trained at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Sennott began her career performing on the New York City open mic scene and collaborated with Ayo Edebiri to develop two shows for Comedy Central. Her breakout role came with the film Shiva Baby in 2020, which earned her a Gotham Award nomination for Breakthrough Actor. She has since appeared in the comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies and the drama I Used to Be Funny, both released in 2022 and 2023 respectively. In 2023, she co-wrote and starred in the satirical teen comedy Bottoms, for which she and director Emma Seligman received a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay. In 2024, she portrayed Rosie Shuster in the biographical comedy Saturday Night. On television, Sennott had a supporting role in the HBO series The Idol in 2023 and is the lead in the HBO comedy series I Love LA, which began in 2025. She also wrote and produced this series. In addition, she co-created the Netflix crime comedy series Big Mistakes with Dan Levy, scheduled for 2026.
