Nancy Meyers is an American attorney known for her work in film. She has written, produced, and directed numerous films that have achieved both critical and commercial success. Among her notable achievements is her nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the film Private Benjamin in 1980. Her film Baby Boom was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture in the Musical or Comedy category. Meyers has co-written several films, including Father of the Bride in 1991 and its sequel, Father of the Bride Part II in 1995.
