Mitsuo Fuchida: podcast appearances and interviews

Mitsuo Fuchida was a Japanese military officer born in 1902. He served as a captain in the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service and was a bomber observer during World War II. Fuchida is most notably recognized for leading the first wave of the aerial attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Under the command of Vice Admiral Chūichi Nagumo, he was responsible for coordinating the attack. Following the end of the war, Fuchida converted to Christianity and became an evangelist. He traveled to the United States and Europe to share his story. Later in life, he settled in the United States but did not acquire American citizenship. Some of Fuchida's claims regarding his wartime activities have been viewed with skepticism by historians, including his assertions about advocating for a third wave of the Pearl Harbor attack.
