Mike Rogers: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael J. Rogers is a former Director of the National Security Agency and a former Commander of U.S. Cyber Command. He offered leadership in national security and cyber operations in these roles. Rogers also served as a U.S. representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district from 2001 to 2015 as a member of the Republican Party. During his tenure in Congress, he chaired the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from 2011 to 2015. After retiring from Congress, Rogers transitioned to the media industry where he was hired by CNN as a national security commentator. He also served as the executive producer of the CNN program Declassified: Untold Stories of American Spies. Rogers ran as the Republican nominee in the 2024 United States Senate election in Michigan but was narrowly defeated by the Democratic nominee Elissa Slotkin. He is a candidate in the 2026 United States Senate election in Michigan.
