Lucy Dacus: podcast appearances and interviews

Lucy Elizabeth Dacus, born on May 2, 1995, is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer originally from Richmond, Virginia. She first gained recognition with the release of her debut album, No Burden, in 2016, which led to a record deal with Matador Records. Her second album, Historian, was released in 2018 to critical acclaim, followed by her third studio album, Home Video, in 2021, and her fourth album, Forever Is a Feeling, in 2025. In addition to her solo career, Dacus is a member of the indie supergroup Boygenius, alongside Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers. The band has released one studio album and two EPs, earning widespread praise and touring extensively. Boygenius won three Grammy Awards in 2024, including Best Alternative Music Album, and made history as the first all-female band to win awards for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance. Recognized for her guitar skills, Dacus was named the 213th-greatest guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone in October 2023.
