Kikkan Randall: podcast appearances and interviews

Kikkan Randall, born on December 31, 1982, is an American cross-country skier and Olympic gold medalist. She has achieved notable success throughout her career, including winning 17 United States National titles and earning 29 podium finishes in World Cup competitions. Randall participated in five Winter Olympic Games and secured a historic victory with teammate Jessie Diggins in the women’s team sprint at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, marking the United States' first ever cross-country skiing gold medal at the Winter Olympics.

In addition to her Olympic achievements, Randall made a significant impact at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. She finished second in the sprint event in Liberec in 2009, which was the highest finish by an individual American woman at the World Championships. That same year, she became the first American female cross-country skier to win a World Cup race and a discipline title. Her accomplishments include being the first American woman to reach the top ten in a World Cup event and to win a World Cup discipline title. Furthermore, her win in the team sprint event at the 2013 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, alongside Jessie Diggins, was the first American gold medal in cross-country skiing at these championships.
