Emily Harrington, born on August 17, 1986, is an American professional rock climber and mountaineer. She has achieved notable success in competition lead climbing, securing the title of US National Champion five times. Harrington was also a runner-up in the 2005 IFSC Climbing World Championships. In addition to her competitive accomplishments, she has completed first female free ascents of numerous routes graded at 5.14, which corresponds to an 8c/+ level in difficulty.
